An exciting opportunity has arisen for a 12 week secondment/development opportunity as a District Nurse Charge Nurse within the Kilmarnock District Nursing area.

What you will do:

You will be responsible for the management of the caseload in the absence of the Clinical Team Leader including the supervision and redeployment of staff.

Knowledge, training and/or experience required to do the job:

As a registered general nurse, educated to degree level and with current NMC registration, you should have a District Nurse post graduate or equivalent SPQ qualification or be willing to undertake relevant post graduate district nursing education.

You must be able to demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills and have the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

You should be able to provide evidence of personal development and a willingness to undertake appropriate training.

A car owner/driver with current UK licence is essential.

Hours:

37.5 per week - You will be expected to work a rostered shift pattern weekdays with a weekend working commitment.
