Position

Opportunities have arisen to join the Adult Acute Admissions in patient team in NHS Ayrshire and Arran, more specifically working within ward 10, Woodland View.

The position is offered on a permanent basis.

What you will do:

As a Band 3 Nursing Assistant working at Woodland View facility within Ayrshire Central Hospital site you will support the delivery of high quality nursing care, providing person-centred, recovery focused interventions as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Knowledge, training and/or experience required to do the job:

A genuine interest in working with persons experiencing mental health problems is essential and experience of working within a care setting or role is highly desirable. 

You will work as a key component of a multidisciplinary team and, as such, should have excellent communication, interpersonal and time management skills along with a positive attitude and a proven ability to work as part of a team.

Applicants should be willing to undertake training to develop skills and competencies as required.
