The shift pattern is 08.00 -18.00 hours worked over 5 days per week.
BAND 6 Community Treatment and Care Coordinator (CTAC)
Department: Inverclyde HSCP - Community Adult Nursing
Hours: 37.5 Hours per week Permanent
Grade: Band 6 CTAC Coordinator
Base: CTAC Services within Inverclyde HSCP
Role of the department:
Community Treatment and Care services (known as CTAC) are part of the primary Care Improvement Plan that was agreed as a part of the 2018 GP contract. CTAC services give patients access to various parts of their healthcare through NHS services that were traditionally provided by general practice. This service includes nurse led treatment rooms, vaccination services and GP based phlebotomy services.
The job the applicant will be doing:
To oversee and coordinate services within CTAC. This will include but is not limited to: Rostering, absence management, appraisals, contributing to the development of CTAC services and the day to day management of band 3 and band 5 nursing teams whilst providing excellent patient care across various settings and clinics.
CTAC services are still developing as we explore their role in the community. The successful candidate should be organised, have excellent communication skills and have an interest in supporting and coordinating the ongoing developments and progression of CTAC.
Skills / Qualifications:
A 1st level registered nurse with significant post registration is essential. Community experience would be advantageous but not essential. As part of NHS Greater Glasgow & Clyde’s pre-employment checking for all appointed candidates, evidence of current NMC registration will be required prior to start date. You should therefore note that candidates who are unable to provide confirmation of current NMC registration, in line with projected start date for this post, may not be shortlised for interview.
