This post offers an exciting opportunity for an experienced Band 5 Occupational Therapist to join the OT team within the inpatient Specialist Stroke and Critical Care team at the Victoria Hospital, Kirkcaldy.
You will have skills in the prioritisation, assessment, and treatment of the physical, cognitive, psychological and environmental needs of in-patients within the VHK and will demonstrate a sound knowledge of the occupational therapy process from admission to discharge.
You will have positive experience of managing their own case load and of multi-agency working. We are committed to supporting evidence-based practice and will require the post holder to engage in associated activities both collectively and independently. The Occupational Therapy department supports continuing professional development through supervision, TURAS, in-service programme, and training.
You should have the ability to travel throughout Fife effectively in a timely manner as required. There is a possibility that the scope for this post will extend to other NHS localities.
