Fife Health and Social Care Partnership is pleased to announce that permanent funding has been secured for 4 Healthcare Support Workers to work within the Care Home Support Team, with bases at Lynebank Hospital in Dunfermline and Stratheden Hospital in Cupar.

The Care Home Support Team work in partnership with providers and other multi agencies to assure the care provided in our 74 care homes is safe, effective and person centred.

We are seeking Healthcare Support Workers who are approachable, confident individuals and who can demonstrate an appreciation of the diversity of the workload in Care Homes. The role includes supporting the Care Home Liaison Nurses to provide prompt support of the older adults ensuring safe and effective care and deployment to care homes supporting residents with everyday activities.

Experience of working in a community or care home setting is desirable, although not essential. You should be flexible in approach, with experience in partnership working. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team are key to this post.

The core hours are Monday – Friday 0830 - 1630 and travel throughout Fife will be required. Hours are negotiable.
