The Golden Jubilee Conference Hotel is a 4-star Hotel and Conference Centre comprising 168 bedrooms and 15 conference spaces.  It is Scotland’s leading residential conference venue, an accredited Venue of Excellence and a member of the International Association of Conference Centres.

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Front Office Supervisor to join our Front Office Team. Reporting to the Rooms Division Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operation for the entirety of Front Office areas including reception, reservations, nights and transport.  You will supervise, support and motivate the Front Office team and ensure all daily tasks and procedures are completed to standard.  You will identify training needs and support the Front Office Hosts continued training and development, as well as taking the lead on welcoming any new team members.

You will ensure excellent service is offered to all guests, visitors, patients and clients, promoting this within the team while handling and resolving any requests and feedback.  You will support the management team with departmental Health and Safety responsibilities, reporting any issues and participating in monthly audits, checks and reviews as well as participating in the hotel Emergency, First Aider and Duty Management teams.

The role requires the ability to be flexible, have good organisational and communication skills and have excellent problem solving skills.

A proven track record of working in a busy environment where changes and competing priorities are a daily challenge is essential.

A full driving licence is required for this role.

This full time post will involve working 4 days from 7 and will include evenings, weekends and night working.
