An exciting opportunity has become available in the Mid Ross Social Work Team. The successful candidate will be working full time as a Social Work Assistant Practitioner. The successful candidate will be able to work both autonomously and within a busy team. They will also be responsible for working alongside colleagues and clinicians to assess the needs of individuals and liaise with families, the independent sector and third sector providers, to ensure care and support is appropriately arranged. In addition, the candidate should have a good understanding and knowledge of the Adults with Incapacity (Scotland) Act 2000, the Adult Support and Protection (Scotland) Act 2007 and the Social Care (Self-Directed) Support Act 2013.
This position is ideally suited to an experienced practitioner and applications will be welcomed from individuals who wish to be challenged and gain experience within a Social Work Team.
The right candidate will be able to demonstrate strong values and principles and apply these to practice.
