Job Title: 1.0 WTE Speech and language Therapist (Band 5)
Fixed term for 1 year

Vacancy Details:
This fixed-term vacancy is for a committed, innovative, motivated and flexible Speech and Language Therapist to work as part of an established adult acute speech and language therapy service
Duties & responsibilities:
To provide a comprehensive speech and language therapy service to hospital in-patients.
Staff responsibility – Supervise and support clinical workload of SLT assistant and SLT students
Key requirements:
A SLT degree qualification or equivalent and HCPC registration is essential for this post
A qualified SLT wishing to develop or consolidate assessment and rehabilitation skills in the field of adult acquired disorders
This post requires the post holder to have a PVG Scheme membership/ record. If the post holder is not a current PVG member for the required regulatory group (i.e. child and/or adult) then an application will need to be made to Disclosure Scotland and deemed satisfactory before they can begin in post.
