Housekeepers are currently required for our busy Housekeeping department. You will be responsible for providing a safe environment for patients, staff and visitors to help reduce healthcare associated infections. This job involves unsocial hours and shift work.
Previous housekeeping experience in an environment where customer care is a key requirement is essential, as is knowledge of COSHH Infection control standards. The ability to work as part of a team together with knowledge of specialist health and safety requirements within operating theatres and an understanding of waste handling and dealing with spillages of blood and body fluids are vital.
Unsocial hours and shift work is part of the rotational rota required to support this service level agreement. Completion of all induction, eLearning, mandatory training courses on computers is an essential part of the housekeeping role.
