Position
The Risk Management Team in NHS Ayrshire & Arran are looking for a Risk Assistant to join their friendly, dedicated and supportive team based at University Hospital Crosshouse, Kilmarnock.
The position is offered on a fixed term basis for 1 year.
What you will do:
Working very closely with our Risk Advisors, Significant Adverse Event Coordinator and Risk System Coordinator, you will support them with work including maintaining the quality and content of data held within our Risk and Significant Adverse Event information systems, being our initial point of contact for staff across the organisation who have risk related queries, and provide administrative and secretarial support to the teams. You will support the coordination and administration of all requests for Acute Services Unplanned Activity funding and develop and deliver training sessions to staff groups across the organisation, in relation to reporting, reviewing and finally approving Adverse Events.

Knowledge, training and/or experience required to do the job:
With an HND or equivalent in a relevant subject, you will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and team working ability.
