NHS Lothian Newly Qualifying Registered Nurse Awareness Sessions 4th - 8th March 2024 |
We would be delighted if you decide to join NHS Lothian for your first Staff Nurse post when you complete your nursing studies later this year. Our adverts for all 2024 newly qualifying registered nurses to apply to will go live on Monday 11th March via the NHS Scotland jobs website.
Ahead of you submitting your application, we're hosting a series of awareness sessions across our sites to provide you with the opportunity to visit the areas, meet some of the clinical teams, and ask any questions that you may have.
The sessions will all take place between 10am and 2pm each day on the week commencing the 4th of March, and we would encourage you to attend as many sites as you wish. There is no need to register in advance of attending the sessions, and please feel free to simply drop in at any point during the allocated times.
Monday 4th March
- Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh (RIE)
- Royal Hospital for Children and Young People (RHCYP) - for all Children's Services posts at RHCYP, St John's Hospital and the community
Tuesday 5th March
- Western General Hospital (WGH)
- Princess Alexandra Eye Pavilion (PAEP)
Wednesday 6th March
- East Lothian Community Hospital (ELCH) - for all East Lothian Health and Social Care Partnership posts
- Midlothian Community Hospital (MCH) - for all Midlothian Health and Social Care Partnership posts
- Astley Ainslie Hospital (AAH) - for all Edinburgh Health and Social Care Partnership posts
- Strathbrock Health Centre (Broxburn) - for all West Lothian Health and Social Care Partnership posts
Thursday 7th March
- St John's Hospital (SJH)
Friday 8th March
- Royal Edinburgh Hospital (REH) - for Royal Edinburgh Hospital and Associated Services (REAS) and Prisons posts
