Mid Ross Enablement Worker.  31.5hrs per week (8am-12pm and 4-9pm) 4 on 4 off rota.

The Mid Ross Enablement team has an exciting vacancy for an enablement worker.  The successful post holder will work with individuals in their own home with a focus on maximising independence with activities of daily living. This will involve supporting and rehabilitating people to achieve person centred goals and will involve working closely with registered professionals within the Integrated Health and Social Care team. 

The Mid Ross Team have led innovative ways of working within NHS Highland which has improved the availability of rehabilitation and care support to support discharge from hospital and also supporting people in their own home to avoid admission to hospital or a care home. 

We are looking for an individual who wishes to pursue a career in social care with a special interest in rehabilitation.  They must have an ability to communicate well with people and be able to demonstrate good problem solving skills. A full driving licence and access to own vehicle is essential. Registration with the Scottish Social Service Council will also be required within 6 months of commencing post and an SVQ 3 (Health and Social Care) qualification expected or willingness to work toward.
