Administration Assistant
Part-Time 15 Hrs Permanent
Band 3
An opportunity has arisen for a band 3 Administration Assistant within the Borders Urgent Care Centre based at the BGH. We are developing our service in line with the Government guidance on reshaping urgent care and our work supports the Out of Hours GP service, Urgent Care, and Covid Antiviral calls.
The post is worked over a minimum of three days, Monday to Friday.
The successful candidate will have excellent IT skills; in particular MS Excel and MS Office and the ability to learn new web based systems quickly. They will have excellent communication skills; both verbal and written.
They will provide support to
· PA/Project Support Officer
· Management of service rotas
· Admin support to BUCC management team
· Cover reception duties if necessary
· Procurement orders
· Annual leave requests
· Sickness absence
