NHS Grampian are delighted to offer an opportunity to join the Critical Care team at Aberdeen Royal Infirmary in the role of
Technical Assistant. This is a unique and exciting post within Critical Care.
The role assists us to manage our large pool of equipment across both of our critical care units. The successful candidate will work Monday – Friday and provide an important and consistent presence in the management of a wide variety of life support equipment. This will include maintaining an equipment inventory, setting up/assembling and household maintenance. The post holder will assist with the technical requirements for the transfer and management of a critically ill patient and their complex life-supporting systems. Other duties will aid the nursing team to deliver our service day to day at a reliably high standard.
It is essential that you are a self-motivated, enthusiastic individual with excellent communication skills. You must be committed to role and personal development and be proficient in the use of digital technology, information systems and email.
