We are offering an exciting opportunity to work as a Team Leader within the Endoscopy Unit in NHS Grampian. This is a full time position, however job share options would be considered.
You would be joining an established group of team leaders within a large and expanding Endoscopy Unit, providing a service both within the acute sector and the community.
We require a dynamic, motivated and enthusiastic individual wishing to develop their leadership skills, who will support the SCN to lead the team. You must have the ability to work under pressure in a busy environment, and to project a positive attitude to co-ordinate the team.
Suitable candidates should have extensive post registration Endoscopy experience. They should also possess a sound knowledge of all areas of Endoscopy and have evidence of completion of GIN/JETS competencies. You should also have the ability to act as a mentor and role model.
You must have good leadership and communication skills, and be able to work effectively and efficiently in a challenging environment. The successful candidate should be able to demonstrate clinical excellence in nursing practice, and be willing to support change and development within the unit as we work towards our move to the National Treatment Centre.
