Radiology at the Western General Hospital We welcome you to apply to join the Radiology Team at the Western General Hospital. The WGH is a rewarding place to work, which is centrally located in the beautiful capital city of Edinburgh, boasting excellent transport links. Radiology offers an excellent opportunity for both new and experienced nurses. We support our new staff with a three-month induction programme. Furthermore, there are excellent development opportunities within the department. Our department provides nursing cover across Interventional Radiology (IR), Fluoroscopy, CT, and Lithotripsy. We work 37.5 hours over 4.5 days Monday to Friday, and a 1 in 8 weekend on-call service (0900-1700, Saturday and Sunday).
