The shift pattern is days/nights/weekends/public holidays.

As part of a multidisciplinary team the post holder will have responsibility for assessment of care needs and evaluation of programmes of care ensuring the delivery of high quality care to patients. 

Knowledge, Training and Experience required:

  • Part 8 or 15 NMC Register
  • Newly qualified registered nurses
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Good report writing skills
  • Good organisational skills
  • Motivated to learn and develop practice within paediatrics
  • Ability to work within a team
  • Ability to recognise own limitations
  • Ability to describe personal accountability
