An 18.75 hour 12 month fixed term vacancy for a Consultant Clinical or Counselling Psychologist has arisen in the South Glasgow inpatient service due to a maternity leave.
The inpatient Psychology service at Leverndale Hospital delivers a high quality service to PICU, 3 acute admissions units and mental health rehabilitation wards.
The Psychology team comprises of this post, a Principal Clinical Psychologist and an Assistant Psychologist and works closely with MDT staff across the site. Applications are invited from Clinical or Counselling Psychologists, registered as such with HCPC, with substantial post-qualification experience in adult mental health and the supervision and leadership of other psychology and MDT staff. Experience in an inpatient setting is desirable.
The successful candidate will join the join the large and dynamic South Glasgow psychology department, and have access to a range of professional development and CPD opportunities.
For existing NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde a secondment may be considered with existing line manager support.
