We are looking for a highly experienced, motivated and enthusiastic Senior Occupational Therapist to be based at Inverurie Community Campus. 

This post is based within a well-established Multidisciplinary Team and requires the post holder to deliver assessment and intervention for children within the clinical base, schools and patients home across Aberdeenshire.

The post holder will provide full assessment and treatment programmes for children in the north Aberdeenshire Area.  There is a wide variety of conditions and complex needs in the patient population. The post holder will be manage Occupational therapy staff and be required in a clinical capacity to work closely with the other Band 7 staff across the North Aberdeenshire area.

Travel is required across Aberdeenshire and also to Aberdeen City as part of the job role.

The post is part of a well-established and supportive Occupational Therapy department and as a senior member of staff you would be required to contribute to the Occupational therapy service across clinical areas.

The post holder will require excellent communication, organisational skills and will provide full assessment and treatment programmes for patients with a wide variety of conditions and in mixed community settings.  Multi-disciplinary and multi-agency working is essential for seamless care and the Occupational Therapist is a vital part of this.

The post holder will supervise and allocate work to Occupational therapists and Health care support work staff.

Training of students is an integral part of the job, as is service development within the wider Paediatric Occupational Therapy Team.

The service operates a flexible working policy and we offer regular support, supervision, CPD and development opportunities in line with Turas.
