PROCUREMENT SUPPLIES COORDINATOR

Band 5
(Based at Foresterhill Health Campus)

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Procurement Supplies Coordinator (Band 5) to join the NHS Grampian Procurement Team on a permanent basis.

The role will support the Procurement Team in daily operational activities of product supply with a key focus on critical product line issues. Ensuring that best practices and process are implemented and maintained to ensure operational cost savings.

  • Supporting the Ward Product Management, Customer Services, Operational and Systems teams on supply and operational related issues.
  • Updating and creating with Procurement management support, the working process within the Procurement teams and that of NHS Grampians overall supply chain.

Possessing sound communication skills with good attention to detail, you will already have gained sufficient experience in a similar role and adopt a flexible approach to resolve issues proactively. Strong interpersonal and organisational skills are essential, with a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages.

The post holder will be required to work with minimum supervision, ensuring workload is processed efficiently and will be able to demonstrate ability to reprioritise quickly in response to the changing needs of the service.

This is a full time position with contracted hours being 37.5. There are currently hybrid working arrangements in place.
