Section Head Advanced Specialist Clinical Technologist / Radiographer

We are seeking an enthusiastic Section Head Advanced Specialist Clinical Technologist / Radiographer to join a multidisciplinary team providing Nuclear Medicine services in South Glasgow & Clyde, NHS Greater Glasgow & Clyde.
The successful candidate will lead one of the four sections in South Glasgow. The South Glasgow department operates across several sites, including the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital, the Institute of Neurological Sciences and the Victoria Hospital. This busy department has a work load of over 10,000 patient procedures per annum. Services include SPECT-CT scanning, non-imaging procedures, bone densitometry, therapy and a dedicated NeuroSPECT scanning service.
This vacancy includes the team lead for bone densitometry (DEXA).
You will have a Degree (or equivalent knowledge and experience) in a relevant subject with post qualification experience in Nuclear Medicine. Peer reviewed training in Nuclear Medicine (e.g. IPEM Diploma in Clinical Technology (Nuclear Medicine) or equivalent) is required. As the Section Head vacancy includes bone densitometry, the successful candidate would be expected to complete the Royal Osteoporosis Society National Training Scheme for Bone Density Operators within 2 years of appointment.
