Muiredge Surgery is seeking to recruit a medical receptionist. We are a friendly practice who currently provide care for over 9000 patients. Previous experience of working within either primary or secondary care would be desirable but not essential as full training will be given to the successful candidate.
You should possess:
· Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal with attention to detail
· Good computer skills with a willingness to learn the IT systems within the practice
· Good organisational skills
· The ability to work as part of a team and also independently
· The ability to be able to work flexibly in order to meet the needs of the practice. This includes assisting with overtime, as required, at times of staff absence
· The ability to enjoy assisting members of the public
· The ability to be professional in their approach at all times
· An understanding of patient confidentiality
