An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Head of Strategic Estates Development and Sustainability with Argyll & Bute Health and Social Care Partnership.

Argyll and Bute Health and Social Care Partnership is responsible for the planning and delivery of all community based health and social care services for adults and children in Argyll and Bute. Our vision and objectives are that “people in Argyll and Bute will live longer, healthier, independent lives”.

This focusses on delivering our ambitious new Strategic Plan in a diverse environment in a sustainable way taking a place based approach and in harmony with our communities. Services include community hospitals and a range of community based health and social care services with a focus on specific care groups and working in partnership with our local communities.

This post is a key strategic partnership role and will contribute to the delivery of services by taking managerial responsibility and professional leadership for all estates responsibilities including meeting our duties as a public body and future proofing our capacity to deliver quality services for patients, staff and visitors. It will ensure the effective management of infrastructure projects, strategic, operational and technical leadership in respect of the Estates and Facilities Management function across Argyll & Bute HSCP’s diverse and complex portfolio of property and facilities services and contribute to the transformation agenda.
