An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated, creative and dynamic individual to join Argyll and Bute HSCP as a Senior Management Accountant.
Based in Helensburgh with the option of hybrid working, this role is a key member of the senior finance team. Responsibilities include the financial management of a portfolio of service level agreements and non-contract activity with NHS and non-NHS providers, performance management of these agreements, contributing to the development of the HSCP’s financial strategy, provision of financial advice across the HSCP, and participation in regional groups. This post has management responsibility for the Finance team based in Helensburgh.
We are looking for a CCAB part/fully qualified accountant, or a candidate with a minimum of 5 years proven relevant experience and demonstrable knowledge. You should have excellent communication skills and the ability to work with a range of stakeholders at all levels. This is largely an autonomous role and the post holder should demonstrate excellent problem-solving abilities, time management skills, be able to work on your own initiative and have team working abilities.
You may occasionally be required to travel between various work locations within the Argyll and Bute Locality to meet the operational requirements of the Service so a full driving licence and access to a car is essential.
