Position

We have an exciting opportunity for a Project Co-Ordinator to help coordinate the work of the NHS Ayrshire & Arran Neurodevelopment Empowerment & Strategy Team (NEST). 

The base for this post will be agreed with the successful candidate, although some working across Ayrshire is essential, in order to meet the requirements of Ayrshire’s neurodivergent residents and communities.

The position is offered on a permanent basis.

What you will do:

You will have the opportunity to co design and deliver the expansion of our neurodevelopmental support coordination service for Ayrshire, working collaboratively with neurodivergent individuals, families/carers, professionals, clinicians, 3rd sector and statutory services. 

Supporting the Programme Lead, you will be instrumental in the design and delivery of a service that provides up to date, relevant and practical local/national information for Ayrshire’s neurodiverse communities and professionals working in neurodevelopmental services.  You will also jointly coordinate, co-produce and deliver a Programme of empowerment for Neurodivergent children, young people, adults and families.  Finally, you will deliver a community based Programme that will set about to raise awareness and accessibility across Ayrshire.

Knowledge, training and/or experience required to do the job:

You will be educated to degree level or equivalent level of knowledge/experience in relevant field.

Experience of planning, facilitation and planning and negotiation skills are essential.

Hours: 18.5 hours per week

Driving Licence/Car Ownership: Car licence/Car ownership is essential to this role.
