An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Digital Directorate for a Service Delivery Manager to manage the Endpoint Services Team.

NHS Tayside’s desktop estate consists of around 14,000 devices spread over approximately 100 sites covering a vast geographical area.  End users work in a variety of settings and require to be able to securely access NHS Tayside’s applications to deliver clinical services.

What we are looking for:

The successful applicant will be responsible for developing and delivering an Endpoint Strategy which will fully support NHS Tayside’s journey towards an Electronic Patient Record whilst refining and sustaining the current Endpoint estate.

The post will lead the Endpoint Services Team in scoping and maintaining the infrastructure required to support an agile workforce and inform the way forward for device choice in NHS Tayside.

The successful applicant will possess excellent technical skills and a proven track record of successful delivery of complex technical projects.  Experience and knowledge of Microsoft technologies, Citrix and Virtual Desktop Infrastructures would be beneficial.

The ability to work flexibly and effectively while adapting to change is important, along with demonstrable and ongoing commitment to continued professional development and maintaining skill set relevancy.

They successful candidate will also be able to demonstrate effective leadership and management skills and the ability to manage and implement change. 

Applicants should be educated to degree level in a relevant discipline or have equivalent experience demonstrating the knowledge, skills, and ability to perform at the level required for the post.

 Where we are:

Our Geographical region covers Dundee, Perth & Angus and this post will be primarily based in Dundee.

Ability and willingness to travel throughout the area of service delivery is essential for this post.
