Applications are welcome for the above fixed term, full time (40 hours per week) post based in WGH.
This is a full-time (10 PA) post and will be based in the Hospital Palliative Care Team at the Western General Hospital. The post holder will work as a core member of the multi-disciplinary, advisory service comprising of three consultants and clinical nurse specialists to provide specialist palliative medicine advice for patients and their families and to support ward staff in the provision of generalist palliative care. There is no on-call/out-of-hours commitment.
Included in the post 4hrs per week of professional development time to support participation in audit, quality improvement projects and teaching within the Palliative Care Service
There is no on-call/out-of-hours commitment.
The post does not have educational approval from the Postgraduate Dean and will not be recognised for training.
