Due to recent promotion, we have an exciting opportunity to join our friendly and close working team of reporting radiographers based at Raigmore Hospital.  A major acute hospital with rotation through the conventional imaging team as initially a band 6 trainee, Band 7 on completing on training.


The department operates a shift system which the successful applicants would be required to participate in.


Based within the Reporting Radiographer Team at Raigmore, posts will provide much needed additional reporting capacity within Conventional Imaging (current backlog of over 1000 cases), hot reporting for ED department.  Urgent/Cancer Xray Reporting service.


Main responsibilities of the role are:
1.Conventional image and hot reporting of skeletal axial and appendicular images/visceral images 
2. Support an audit of clinical practice as required by the Section Team Leader.
3. To support the Conventional X-Ray Imaging Department Team Leader in meeting operational targets of the Conventional Imaging Service for the Highland area.
