An exciting opportunity has arisen to work within the Regional Quality Assurance Service, Pharmacy Services in NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde.

The postholder will be based at the Regional QA Service, Stobhill Hospital and will be involved in the development and provision of a comprehensive Quality Assurance service to the RHC Aseptic Preparation Unit (manufacturing site) and other licensed manufacturing facilities within NHSGGC.

The postholder will also assist the Regional Quality Assurance Pharmacist (West of Scotland) in developing QA support services including those relating to aseptic preparation of medicines (within NHS GGC and West of Scotland Health Boards), clinical governance and the procurement of licensed and unlicensed medicines.

The successful candidate will also be expected to complete an MSc qualification in Pharmaceutical Technology and Quality Assurance – if not already completed.

Demonstration of knowledge and skills in Good Manufacturing Practice and Pharmaceutical Quality Systems is essential.
