NHS Golden Jubilee is home to the West of Scotland Heart and Lung Centre and also is an expanding elective centre. We are expanding our service and are looking for a PACU Assistant to join our team.

We currently have 16 theatres and one endoscopy room and perform elective surgery 6 days per week. There are  opportunities for learning new skills and for personal development and learning.

You will have a key role in supporting patients coming to theatre and transferring them back to the ward in a safely manner. You will also be responsible to assist with the positioning of patients for anaesthetic blocks and must have excellent communication skills.

No formal qualifications are necessary however, applicants should have an understanding of the core values of the hospital.
