Position

Exciting opportunities have arisen within the Critical Care Unit in University Hospital Crosshouse.  We are looking for highly motivated, enthusiastic, kind, caring and hard-working Registered Nurses who will work as part of a multidisciplinary team. 

The Critical Care Unit at Crosshouse Hospital is an 18 bedded combined general unit caring for patients requiring Level 2 or Level 3 care.

There are 3 permanent positions available.

What you will do:

You will be expected to contribute to the development of critical care services in Ayrshire and Arran. You should be able to adapt to an unpredictable, rapidly evolving, technologically advanced work environment, and be able to cope with, and drive change.

Knowledge, training and/or experience required to do the job:

As a registered nurse with current NMC registration, you will have previous nursing experience within critical care.  A high level of interpersonal and communication skills is essential.  You must demonstrate an appetite for lifelong learning and able to provide evidence of your professional development.
