Position:

An opportunity has arisen for a within the Ayrshire Community Blood Service. The post is based within the South Health and Social Care Partnership.  This is an area wide service across Ayrshire and Arran with the potential to require to assist within the North and East Health and Social Care Partnership depending on the needs of the service.

What you will do:

You will be working within a variety of clinic settings and patient’s homes you will have the appropriate skills to undertake phlebotomy in the community.

Knowledge, training and/or experience required to do the job:

You must be able to demonstrate excellent communication and inter-personal skills, have the ability to work on your own initiative.  You will be required to undertake lone working within the community.   You should be able to provide evidence of personal development and a willingness to undertake appropriate training. SVQ level 2/3 required.

Hours:

Driving Licence/Car Ownership:

You must have a driving licence and be a car owner.
