The Post: 
We are looking for an experienced Network Consultant with a background specialising in Cisco Routing, Switching and Wireless

The successful candidate will be part of a team, reporting directly to the Network Manager, and will act as one of the points of contact for technical staff involved in supporting the IT infrastructure and platforms, and for senior managers.

As our organisation transitions from a traditional data-centre approach to a “cloud-first” topology, you will be expected to be at the forefront of the network transition into our hybrid cloud.

The Candidate:
If you have a strong background in Networking with skills covering:

  • Cisco Routing, switching and Wireless
  • Checkpoint Firewall administration
  • RSA SecurID Two-factor authentication
  • Azure, AWS networking and security

And are comfortable working in an environment based on ITIL v3.

Location and Working Pattern:
Gyle Square, Edinburgh or Delta House, Glasgow.

Currently hybrid working.

Monday to Friday - Sunday, 37.5 hours per week

It is a condition of this employment that you must live and remain a resident within the UK for the post in which you will be employed with NSS.
