What you will do:
- Work as part of the Speech and Language Therapy (SLT) Service
- Work under indirect supervision of a speech and language therapist (SLT) on specified tasks, in specified contexts with support, supervision and direction provided primarily through discussion.
- Recognise and respect the roles , responsibilities, competence and constraints of other professions in relation to Speech and Language Therapy knowing when, where, and how to involve those others through agreed channels
- Deliver independent working with a small delegated caseload and/or workload recognising the need for evidence based practice and carrying out delegated tasks with a negotiated level of support, direct supervision, and direction
- Collate and input data, providing administrative support for the Speech and Language Therapy service

Knowledge, training and/or experience required to do the job:
- HND or equivalent knowledge, training and experience to this level
- Experience of working in NHS, Local Authority or a caring setting
- Training will be provided to Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists Standards
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Relevant digital competencies
- Car driver essential
- Ability to work under indirect supervision and as part of a team
- Experience of working with individuals and their families in a supportive role
- Self-motivated

Hours:
1x 37.5 hours per week fixed term - 31st March 2026
1x 22.5 hours per week fixed term - 31st March 2026
Driving Licence/Car Ownership:
Car licence/Car ownership is essential to this role.
