This is an exciting opportunity for a Health Care Assistant to join the District Nursing Service in Dundee. Working within a team(s) you will provide care to patients and support to their carers within a home/community setting.
Dundee Community Nursing Service is in the implementation phase of Transforming District Nursing and it is anticipated that this will bring significant opportunities for career pathways in the future. You will be well organised and have excellent communication skills.
Due to Health and Social Care integration, a commitment to multi disciplinary working with
the ability to adapt and manage change within the service is essential.
Working a variety of shifts over 7 days between 08.00 hrs and 22.00 hrs including weekends and public holidays.
Ability to travel across Dundee and the surrounding areas is essential.
You will be required to achieve the mandatory Induction standards for Healthcare Support Workers in Scotland and to comply with the Code of Conduct throughout your employment.

Hours of work are: 30hrs over 5 days including weekends and public holidays, you should be willing to work a variety of shifts over the 24 hour period .
