The NHS Tayside Digital Directorate are looking to recruit a Senior Support Specialist (Unified Communications) to fill a vacancy in the Unified Communications Team on a permanent basis.
The successful candidate would be required to support the day-to-day work of the Unified Communications team, supervising and managing staff, involvement in project related work and management of the IT Service desk with the team. Excellent technical and organisational skills are paramount as is the ability to successfully deliver a comprehensive service for NHS Tayside.
The key technical areas covered but not limited to, are as follows.
- Provide qualified second line support and fault resolution within an IM & T service delivery function
- 3rd party supplier management
- All things telephony. Mobile and fixed telephony, VOIP and analogue
- Mobile Device Management
- Supervise/Manage UC team.

Your performance must comply with the national "Mandatory Induction Standards for Healthcare Support Workers 2009" and with the Code of Conduct for Healthcare Support Workers.
The hours of work will be 37.5 hours per week Monday to Friday, with participation in an on-call rota.
