This is a fixed term position of 12 months.

The shift pattern is to be confirmed.(Please note the salary is Pro Rata) for part time hours.

This post is to provide secretarial and administrative support to the milk bank service to ensure efficient service delivery to donors and users across Scotland. The post holder requires to work independently for much of the time managing calls and providing a high level of co-ordination and communication by following the service Standard Operating Procedures and Operation Guidelines. The post holder will be supported by the milk bank coordinator and clinical staff. A full induction programme will be available and where possible, opportunities for further learning will be offered. 

To support this role, the applicant will require a proficient use of software systems including Microsoft Office. They will need to be organised and able to multi task, often working under pressure and competing demands. Good communication is key with the ability to be diplomatic and sensitive.
