What you will do:
Provide direct clinical care that encompasses advanced Occupational Therapy assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and management of patients in the community setting. The post holder contributes to the working of a Multi-disciplinary team but is expected to work independently for the majority of the day. Continuous service development is important to this role.

Knowledge, training and/or experience required to do the job:
Essential
BSc / Diploma in occupational therapy
Registration with Health Profession Council
Substantial clinical experience
Evidence of continuing professional development
Qualified in Practice Education
An understanding of inter-disciplinary working
Clinical effectiveness/research skills
Understanding of OT outcome measures.
Ability to analyse professional and ethical issues
Supervisory/appraisal skills and experience
Ability to work independently as well as a part of a team
Excellent communicator
Ability to reflect and critically appraise own performance and performance of team.
Ability to organise and respond efficiently to complex information
Car driver
Desirable
Evidence of playing major role in multi-disciplinary team
Evidence of experience working in the community
Basic information technology skills
Completion of post-graduate training relevant to specialist area
Management Development with previous experience of:
- Leadership
- Effective Communication
- Project Management
- Change Management
- Negotiation skills
- Conflict resolution

Hours:
2 positions
37.5 hours per week
Would consider applicants looking for part-time hours, post is 5/7 days, weekend working is on a 1in8 basis.
Driving Licence/Car Ownership:
