Position

An opportunity has arisen for a Cook based at University Hospital Ayr.

What you will do:

To provide an efficient, comprehensive and cost-effective Catering Service that meets the needs of Patients, Staff and Visitors and fulfils the objectives of the General Hospitals Division in accordance with Food Hygiene Regulations and Codes of Practice for Caterers.

Knowledge, training and/or experience required to do the job:

You will require:

  • Food Hygiene Basic Certificate
  • Diet Cookery Certificate
  • City & Guilds 706/2 (or equivalent)
  • City & Guilds 706/1 / 706/2 (or equivalent) NVQ/SVQ or equivalent is essential; Basic REHIS/RSH Food Hygiene certificate.
  • City and Guilds 706/1 and 706/2 or an SVQ/NVQ qualification is essential
