The Post:
The Scan for Safety programme is a commissioned programme delivered by NHS National Services on behalf of the Scottish Government.
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Stakeholder Relationship Manager to join our team to support the delivery of this national programme of work.
The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in managing relationships with a wide variety of stakeholders, including the Scottish Government, NHS Health Boards, NHS leadership, commercial partners, and other key stakeholders.
The role will lead the development and implementation of stakeholder management and engagement activities for the programme.
The post holder will support the Programme Director and workstream leads by encompassing both reactive and proactive stakeholder engagement and management functions, dealing with the national and regional stakeholders, and support and manage programme engagement activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a stakeholder engagement strategy to ensure effective communication and collaboration with all relevant stakeholders.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels, including government officials, NHS Health Boards, and commercial partners.
- Monitor and evaluate stakeholder engagement efforts, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as necessary.
- Provide regular updates and reports on stakeholder engagement activities to programme leadership and other relevant stakeholders.

The Candidate:
Qualifications and Experience:
Educated to Degree level or equivalent in stakeholder management/marketing/public relations/business or equivalent field.
Experience in stakeholder management, relationship building, and communication in a complex organisational environment, preferably within the healthcare sector.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management software.

Location and Working Pattern:
Gyle Square, Edinburgh or Delta House, Glasgow with travel to other NSS locations as required.
Currently hybrid working.
Monday to Friday, 37 hours per week - part time hours will be considered.
It is a condition of this employment that you must live and remain a resident within the UK for the post in which you will be employed with NSS.
