An opportunity for a Band 3 Rehabilitation Assistant has arisen in Aonach Mor Ward, New Craigs Hospital.

Aonach Mor is a 14 bedded Rehabilitation unit, offsite from New Craigs, which provides assistance supporting people with mental health issues transition back into the community from hospital, learning new skills and re-establishing old skills in all areas of Activities of Daily Living.  Our Multi-Disciplinary Team comprises medical, nursing, occupational therapy, pharmacy and psychology, with access to support from social work.

A Rehabilitation Assistant in Aonach Mor will have the opportunity to support nursing staff in a wide variety of activities, supporting patients with all aspects of their personalised programs of rehabilitation.

Aonach Mor is a friendly and welcoming environment with a passion for providing person-centred care, using a Recovery Focus.

We would also welcome applicants with experience in supporting people with mental health difficulties, but this is not essential.
