Applications are welcomed from candidates with relevant transferable experience outwith the payroll environment for consideration for appointment as a trainee.  If appointed as a trainee the post will be graded under Band 4 Annex 21:

A post with Annex 21 applied is paid a percentage of the fully qualified rate during the period of training as follows: Year 1: 70% of the pay band maximum; Year 2: 75% of the pay band maximum (uplifted to the Scottish Living Wage) per annum.
