Falkirk Community Hospital Optometry/Ophthalmology department is looking for a full time staff nurse to join our dynamic and motivated team working in a variety of interesting roles. 

The department provides a range a range of clinical services including Day Surgery, Paediatrics, Low Vision, Glaucoma, Medical Retina, Diabetic Retinopathy, Cataract and Cornea.

Prior ophthalmic experience is preferable but not essential and training is available in post.

The post will be based at Falkirk Community Hospital.

The usual hours of work are Monday to Friday  3 x 8.00-18.00 and 1 x 9.00-19.00.  You will routinely be rostered on the weekends (approximately 1 weekend in 6) from  8.30-13:30 both Saturday and Sunday with an alternative day off and 1 x 17.30 finish time during the week.

Applications are invited from enthusiastic staff nurses to join our multidisciplinary team working with our Consultant, Optometric, Orthoptic and Nursing staff.  Ophthalmic experience preferred but not essential.
