Band 8A Senior Pharmacist Haem-Onc and Advanced Therapy Medicinal Products (ATMP)

Permanent 37.5 hours

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced pharmacist to join the clinical pharmacy team based in the National Stem Cell Transplant Centre and CAR-T treatment Centre for Scotland. The post is based in Ward 4b Queen Elizabeth University Hospital which is a bespoke 24 bedded Transplant Unit. The post holder would work across both services but specialise in developing and maintaining the pharmaceutical aspects of ATMP delivery within the unit. As well as responsibility for the ATMP service, the post holder will link with the clinical trials team to facilitate delivery of ATIMPs in this exciting and rapidly expanding area of practice. The post holder will also help to develop and support the introduction of ambulatory care within the unit and liaise with clinical pharmacists across Scotland re patient work up and post transplant/ATMP support for patients from the other Health Boards.

Applicants should have significant cancer/haemato-oncology experience. Recent experience within Stem Cell Transplant/ATMP services would also be desirable.
