What you will do:

An exciting and innovative  opportunity has arisen for you to work as part of the Speech and Language Therapy Team in South Ayrshire Health and Social Care Partnership. The Speech and Language Therapy Team delivers services at universal, targeted and specialist levels and aims to support the wellbeing needs of children, young people and their families, at the earliest opportunity by working in collaboration with our communities.

This post has been funded by the local Improvement and Innovation fund to lead on the Communication friendly Environments work across South Ayrshire, expanding on the work already underway across education and spreading this work to the wider communities. This new and exciting leadership role is a real opportunity to improve the environments across the local area and to ensure they are communication friendly for all.

Knowledge, training and/or experience required to do the job:

You will be a highly skilled practitioner with extensive clinical experience and experience of line management, clinical leadership and quality improvement are desirable.

Regular support and supervision and opportunities to enhance skills will be provided in line with Turas.

You will have strong written and oral communication skills with a proven ability to communicate effectively and work constructively with a range of people.
