Advanced Clinical Physiologist

The Respiratory Physiology Service provides routine & specialized services to the population of Greater Glasgow & Clyde. 

The post holder will be required to perform a full range of diagnostic investigations in respiratory function and sleep disordered breathing within Greater Glasgow & Clyde Physiology Services.

The post holder must be able to travel to other GGC partner sites to support other departments within Greater Glasgow & Clyde when required (during staff leave/sickness etc.)

We will consider trainees for this post if no fully trained individuals apply. We would, however, expect the trainee to already be working in Respiratory Physiology and have some experience in Respiratory such as one years’ experience providing spirometry testing with the ARTP spirometry certificate of completion.

Minimum Qualifications & Experience

  • BSc in Clinical Physiology or equivalent.
  • Applicant must demonstrate suitable competences and experience for the post.
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft word, excel and access
  • Working knowledge of relevant national standards, professional guidelines and local policies and procedures.
  • Voluntary Registered practitioner (essential).
  • ARTP spirometry certificate
