This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and self-motivated individual to undertake a post within Renfrewshire HSCP as part of the Medicines Compliance Service. This service involves the review of individuals at home around their medication compliance and the post holder would support the Pharmacy Technicians who provide this service.
The post holder will join the NHSGGC Prescribing Support Team and assist the Medicines Compliance Service Technicians with triaging referrals, booking home visits, liaising with GP practices, community pharmacy, the wider prescribing team, social care services and patients/carers. The post holder will also be involved with any non-complex follow-up visits to support patients in their homes with their medication compliance. As a member of the wider Prescribing Team, you will have an important role in supporting cost effective and evidence-based prescribing.
This post requires excellent communication, negotiation, organisational and IT skills. This is an opportunity to begin a career in Primary Care working with multi-disciplinary teams, particularly GP Practices, Community Pharmacies, and across social care settings.
