Medical Secretary Band 3
Permanent (37.5 hours per week)
Monday to Friday 9am – 5pm

A vacancy has arisen for a permanent Band 3 Medical Secretary at CAMHS, NHS Lothian.
We are looking for an individual who is motivated, enthusiastic with the ability to work well under pressure and to tight deadlines. Excellent organisational skills are required.
You will support the generic functions and duties of the wider administrative team providing a high quality secretary/administration service to patients/families and the multidisciplinary sector team and other users of the Service.
You will be expected to communicate effectively with patients/families, clinicians, professionals and other administration staff.
It is desirable that applicants possess secretarial/administration experience within NHS or a similar environment. You will have the ability to work on your own initiative as well as part of a team.
The post will be based at CAMHS Tipperlinn, Royal Edinburgh Hospital
