An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Nurse to join our team in Arduthie Ward, Kincardine Community Hospital, Stonehaven as a Senior Staff Nurse, Band 6. The post is 37.5 hours per week covering days and occasional nights including weekend work.
Suitable candidates should have post registration elderly care, palliative care and rehabilitation nursing experience and also have or be willing to work towards a minor injury qualification. You should have the ability to provide good quality care that is evidence based and innovative and be able to develop a diversity of skills to meet the needs of the busy environment.
We are a busy 19-bedded Ward specialising in care of the elderly, palliative care and rehabilitation. Attached to the ward is a Minor Injury Unit which is nurse led and open from 0800-2200hrs daily. We are also involved in the nursing provision for Edenholme Care Home giving the successful candidate an opportunity to develop a wide set of skills.
The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate clinical excellence in nursing practice, have experience in management, evidence of continuous service improvement and the ability to facilitate and manage change within a clinical environment.
We are looking for a motivated individual wishing to develop leadership skills, who will support the SCN and the other Band 6 nurses.
An attractive relocation allowance of up to £8,000 is available to successful candidates.
