The Community Mental Health Service in Perth & Kinross is expanding due to exciting innovations and developments within the service. We are now looking for an individual to join us to take forward the development of the Neurodevelopment Co-ordinator role, working closely with all of the teams in Perth & Kinross Community Mental Health Services.

We are looking for an experienced Registered Mental Health Nurse to become part of the wider leadership team who can contribute to the continued development of the service we provide to Adults with Neurodevelopmental Disorders/Mental Health needs.

Applicants must have appropriate knowledge and experience in assessment and treatment of neurodevelopmental disorders and co morbid mental health difficulties, preferably in a CMHT setting, and evidence of ongoing professional development.  In addition, you must possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills and be able to undertake educational and development activities to enhance clinical practice. This post will also require a non-medical prescribing qualification or willingness to undertake this as part of the role.

Successful candidates will receive a robust induction programme alongside ongoing supportive clinical and managerial supervision. Your professional development will be supported through internal and external training, structured reviews and the support of a multi-disciplinary team.

Registered Nurse with valid UK NMC Registration. You must be able to travel across the locality.

Hours of work are: 37.5 per week. This a fulltime post with a contracted base at Cairnwell, Perth City Adult CMHT. Although working across the locality will be required, with travel across Perth & Kinross required for this post.
